*Below are the Position Details:* *Position: SQL Developer* *Location: Minneapolis, MN or Remote* *Duration: 9+ month contract * *Visa: **GC / Citizen /H1B should be able to work on our W2* *Job Description:* What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? • 5 or more years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • 5 or more years of experience with relational databases specifically MS SQL Server 2014/16 using Management Studio • 5 or more years of experience in T-SQL, including advanced queries, views, stored procedures, and functions • 3 or more years application development with Microsoft Access/Excel VBA, VB.Net • 3 or more years of experience working in an Agile Scrum team • 2 or more years of experience writing technical specifications • 2 or more years of experience modeling changes to an existing database • Must be available for after-hours releases as frequently as twice a month • Willingness to accept on-call responsibilities to respond to system issues What skills/attributes are a must have? 1. Able to communicate clearly with teammates and business partners while working virtually 2. Proficient with technical analysis of user stories, business rules and visual specifications to accurately size user stories 3. Able to solve complex technical problems e.g. troubleshooting/debugging of defects 4. 5 or more years of experience with relational databases specifically MS SQL Server 2014/16 using Management Studio with proficiency in T-SQL coding of tables, views, SPROCS and functions 5. MUST be able to perform their assigned work independently, quickly and accurately, collaborating with the business analyst or development lead when needed. 6. Able to write and unit test highly maintainable code, complete with comments used to make the intent clear, within an iterative cycle 7. Must be available for after-hours releases as frequently as twice a month when their work is released to Production 8.
