Please check for experience level of 5 to 7 yrs, knowledge of *Eggplant is MUST.* *Job Description* To contribute to the Syntel delivery of Performance Test requirement from client, ensuring that performance of the application is maintained in all releases. This will be done by writing and updating performance test scripts using eggPlant performance tool and execute them as required. Also, to works with the Project Manager, Business Analyst and technical team to develop the performance test plan. *Responsibilities* · Preparation of performance test plan. · Create and Update performance test scripts (using eggPlant performance). · Collect and create test data for performance testing. · Run performance tests. · Create scenarios from requirements for performance testing. · Provide estimates for test activities. · Coordinate with business owners & other stake holders to test transaction flows and validate business rule execution. · Preparation/review of test reports · Assessing the progress and effectiveness of the test effort · Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate. · Training and mentoring *Essential Skills* · *Performance Testing using eggPlant performance tool.* · Knowledge of Software Testing concepts and practices · Proficiency in written and spoken English · Leadership · General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process · Experience in a wide variety of testing techniques and tools · Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) · Understanding of Agile methodologies (particularly SCRUM). *Other Requirements* · 4 - 5 years of relevant industry experience · At least 2 - 3 years of experience in performance testing using “eggPlant Performance” tool. · At least 2 - 3 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the following client server, Web based, and three tier architectures. At least 4 years of experience with one or more of the following tools: HP toolset, Rational toolset, SOA testing tools and performance testing toolsets.
