Job Title: Technical Writer III Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6 months Primary Responsibilities * Organize material and complete technical content assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology. All content creation to align with the core strategy of PayPal Professional Services for external-facing consumption. * Edit, standardize or make changes to material prepared by other writers, support and integration staff. * Confer with technical and integration engineers and other merchant-facing representatives to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication. * Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods of reproduction and binding. * Provide mock ups, diagrams and charts to illustrate material. * Study specifications, mockups and product material to integrate and delineate best technology to provide content. * Interview technical and integration engineers, read other produced content and other material to become familiar with product technologies. * Observe day-to-day team activity to determine operating procedures and detail. * Arrange for typing, duplication and distribution of material via multiple delivery methods and content hosting sites.
