Material Properties Expert Chattanooga TN Job Description * Expert to test the material properties of components for sheet metal and plastics ia a must. * Should've knowledge of the latest materials and be in a position to assign new materials based on the function of the parts * Should've experience of working on VAVE projects involving in cost reduction projects for OEMs * prior experience of working in Tier Suppliers or Universities would also be considered * Strong working knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, including familiarity with modern GD&T and dimensional engineering practices * Perform feasibility checks with respect to material, manufacturing & design aspects; * The candidate must have product engineering experience in mechanical design * Experience in developing a product from concept to production * Ability to understand CAE and Thermal Analysis reports Primary Skills Mechanical Engineering Material Science Secondary Skills * Good oral and written English language skills. * Strong technical writing skills. * Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
