*Role: Kubernetes Architect* *Job Location: Detroit, MI* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Interview: Telephonic/Skype* *Job Description: * This position is for Kubernetes Architect who can architect modern scalable app platforms and transform existing apps to Docker, Kubernetes, Containers and Micro services, together with Operational solutions to manage private and public cloud. The ideal candidate will have significant public and private cloud experience across a range of platforms and technologies including IaaS, PaaS and CaaS understanding, IOT and DevOps. The role drives business value through technical innovation such as simplification, extensibility, supportability. *Responsibilities: * • Prior experience architecting a Kubernetes solution. • End to end understating of Docker and Kubernetes including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. • Implementation experience in advance use cases like setting up cluster, maintaining the users, roles etc., AD/LDAP integration. • Understanding of various Kubernetes network architecture and collaboration with apps in a secured way. • Good understanding of various micro service architectural patterns like Apification, Service Registry etc. • PaaS implementation expertise. • Understanding of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery in the software engineering process and can clearly articulate how a DevOps / Systems Engineer facilitates these practices in collaboration with the Development. • Good to have hands-on experience in deploying, maintaining and debugging dev, qa, staging and production platform with minimum technology stack like Puppet/Chef/Ansible, Tomcat, GIT/SVN, Terraform etc. • Should be instrumental driving cloud PoCs, deployment and migration of various workloads to cloud services from traditional infrastructure or other Cloud services • Collaborate with internal and customer’s functional and technical teams to ensure cloud based solutions are appropriately architected, engineered, tested, & deployed. • Participate in RFP process and presentations • Pursue innovation and improvement across the cloud service portfolio *Qualifications: * • Bachelor’s degree ( minimum 4 years) • 5+ years of experience designing and architecting large enterprise public cloud solutions • Experience in building solutions using right product features and frameworks • Experience working with a distributed international team, across cultures and time zones with minimal supervision • Experience in running architectural workshops with client • Capable of working independently, and able to manage multiple projects at once. • Experience with Microsoft Public Azure, Amazon Web Services • Passion for Cloud technology, be self‐driven to stay abreast of technology trends, products, and platforms • Total Years of experience required for position : 6-12 years Regards, *Abhishek Anand* *US Recruiter* *Q1 Tech.* *Desk:* 630-536-8202 *Ext:* 5520 *Mailto: *[email protected] <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
