*Essential Duties/Responsibilities:*
Upgrade core Documentum applications plus any of the Documentum modules
being used in the landscape. Modules such as Captiva, Document
Transformation Services, Archive Services for SAP, ProArchiver, & xPlore.
Work with internal customers to understand business requirements to
ensure excellent service
Develop quality applications using Object Oriented technology (OOPS),
Java or conventional languages in a SQL, .Net and Document management
environments.
Lead by following the Systems Development Methodology (SDM) to define
requirements, design applications, code, test, and install developed
applications. When required, deliver a prototype before launching a
complete system.
Provide user support on IT developed applications and follow up with
management, customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead in developing business and technical design of applications.
Document and / or help team members document user and programmer’s guides
on applications developed.
Provides guidance and assistance to the applications users and support
teams on all aspects of application deployment, training and support,
including, Installation, Configuration, First and second tier support,
First and second tier troubleshooting
*Skillset Requirements:*
5+ years on hands experience with the following skill set:
Extensive experience performing Documentum upgrades from Documentum
version 6x to 7x and or 7.x to 16.x.
DFC and DFS
JMS H/A and Load balance
Experience with application deployment and troubleshoot web applications
on WebSphere application server (v8.5.5)
Expertise in Core Documentum technologies
• ACLs
• Types
• Storage Config
• LDAP Config
• Job/Methods
• Custom Jobs
• Troubleshooting data inconsistencies
• Performance tuning
• Security
• DQL
• IAPI
• Monitoring logs from the different Documentum components
• Java/DmBasic programming
• Patch/Fix installations
• Creating new object types, new jobs and new configuration objects
• Experience with Docbase cloning (cross platform)
Webtop/DA
Experience working with Documentum on the following platforms: AIX/IBM
with Oracle DB, Linux/Intel with Oracle DB and Linux/IBM with Oracle DB.
Experience in performing Captiva InputAccel upgrades from version 5.2 to
6x to 7x
Installation/Configuration experience with Archive Services for SAP
Installation/Configuration experience with Document Transformation
Services 6x and 7x
Installation/Configuration/Development experience of Captiva InputAccel
Scan/Index Processes
Installation/Configuration experience of Archive Services for Reporting
(ASR)
Installation/Configuration experience of xPlore and FAST Apps
Installation/Configuration experience of CYA
Installation/Configuration experience of Site Caching Services and Site
Deployment Services
Java / J2EE programming experience (Java, JSP, Basic, SQL, DQL, Microsoft
Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Studio 2012, .NET, WDK)
Working knowledge of DFC/DFS
Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently to
deliver project deliverables
Experience in working with Tomcat and Websphere
Experience in WDK customization
Strong skills in documentation of processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
