*Title:* IT Trainer *Location:* Palo Alto, CA *Duration:* 6+ Months *Client:* Jazz Pharmaceuticals *Brief Description:* Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced global trainer to support our corporate IT organization. In this contract role, you will be responsible for educating end-users on new technologies, tools, services and changes to existing use-ability procedures. This role will interface with all levels of management and individual contributors and success in this role will be demonstrated through the ability of our end-users to use technology and services effectively. Initial focus will be very hands-on to build and deliver training on core IT communications services (WebEx, video conference), both instructor led and eLearning. Windows 10 and cyber security training will be added later in the year. Once these core areas are in place, a broader IT training assessment and curriculum will be developed. * Essential Functions* • Conduct technical global training sessions - both instructor-led and virtual. • Develop new and update/improve existing training and related materials • Partner with SMEs and functional areas to identify IT training needs and to develop/revise required training programs, courses and materials as required. • Expand our eLearning and web-based training materials and champion the continued use of these materials. This includes training knowledge base, best practice tips, how-to guides, and others. • Work with outsourced service providers to collaborate on user guides and content. • Assess training needs to determine the best approach to meet the requirement (instructor-led vs. eLearning; develop new training vs. leveraging materials from service provider). • Be proactive in identifying future training needs and requirements. • Assess and develop annual training plans and an overall IT training curriculum. • Develop assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training including feedback, effectiveness and training assessment. • Develop metrics which support global training goals and measure the effectiveness of the training approach. *Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* • Must be passionate about training and know what it takes to provide exceptional and impactful learning experiences to users. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate trainer in a global environment. • Experience in technical training of internal IT staff, executive management, and end-users. • Possess a global mindset –take genuine interest in other cultures and embrace the need to operate with cultural norms and across time zones. • Must have experience in delivery and development of classroom and eLearning content, including virtual classroom. Experience with Saba Meeting a plus. • Strong organizational and time management skills - effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills – ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and SMEs at all levels and locations. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technical audiences. • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and one or more training development tools (e.g. Storyline, Captivate). • Experience with basic graphic design concepts and tools. • Experience developing and delivering training for Cisco WebEx, Cisco videoconferencing, Windows 10 and/or Microsoft Outlook is desired. • Willingness to travel globally. *Required/Preferred Education and Licenses* • Bachelor’s degree • ATD certification a plus *Best Wishes,* *Shravan, Senior Recruiter* *+1 (650) 353-3227* *[email protected]* <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
