*Position Title* : Salesforce Dev - Wave/Analytics (Develop dashboards in Wave involving some coding using JSON) *Experience Required* : 8 -10 years of experience *Initial contract period *: 03/04/2019 to 12/31/2019 *Work Location * : San Ramon, California 94583-2324 *Client * : Chevron *Description:* (CVP) Chevron is one of the world's leading energy companies, with approximately 60,000 employees working in countries around the world. We explore, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute fuels and other energy products; manufacture and sell petrochemical products; generate power; and develop future energy resources, including biofuels and geothermal energy. *Responsibilities: * • Business requirements gathering • Design and Technical specification documentation • Modifying and developing Salesforce.com Analytics Cloud dashboards under guidance from Chevron technical leads • Capturing business requirements and designing dashboards to meet these requirements • Developing and implementing Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) of data into Salesforce.com Analytics Cloud data sets from multiple external and internal source systems. • Use Salesforce dataflow to create data sets as needed. • Assist Chevron leads with best practices related to Wave design and implementations • Working under the direction of Chevron of product owner/project manager to deliver the tasks assigned. *Out of scope * • Dashboards in other tools outside of Salesforce Analytics Cloud *Key Deliverables * • Functional requirements document • Design document • Technical specification document • Unit and system test case document *Required Qualifications: * • 8 to 10 years of Developing experience • Development experience in needed language or technology • Proficient in Salesforce/Salesforce Analytics • Proficient in SQL and JSON • Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - Websphere, Informatica etc.) • Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC *Preferred Qualifications: * • Experience with Einstein Data Discovery • Advanced Analytics • Previous Chevron experience • Salesforce certifications • User Experience Certifications *Education: * • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required *Interview process: * • In Person Interview is required *Notes from Manager: * • No traveling required for this position.
