Job Title Junior Level - Data Warehouse - Business Analyst Job Type C2C Job Location Atlanta, GA Project Duration 12+ Months Interview Mode Skype or WebEx interview with hiring team (Technical in nature) Rate Open Mandatory Experience Seeking a Data Warehouse Business Analyst to provide business and data analyses to support business needs through IT and data warehousing while applying knowledge of full life-cycle development, including a focus on identification and documentation of business requirements, analysis of the development of key business processes, business rules, system and user testing, data sourcing strategies, data validation and user support with data analysis, conducting ad-hoc research, creating dashboards, and designing complex database queries. Duties: * Leading and facilitating the communication with IT staff, business customers and other stakeholders * Provide support during development and implementation of the warehouse * Manage the balance between business requirements and user expectations * Use extensive experience as a liaison between users and technologists to drive requirements into design * Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing processes * Meets with staff to analyze current business procedures, identify issues, and learn specific business requirements, such as how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently; identify potential technology improvements to be leveraged in support of the business * Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans * Provide day-to-day support to business users that are developing new reports and BI applications; this role will be a reporting-tools expert who is a consulting resource for our internal/external stakeholders. * Responsible for exploring new tools and Microsoft features; this includes dashboards, mobile capabilities, analytics and data visualization. * Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, KPIs, and business uses of data to provide clear data visualizations and analysis. Required / Desired Skills: 1. Direct experience with BI or Data Warehousing projects over the entire development lifecycle Required - 3 Years 2. B.S. degree in MIS/IT or business-related field Required - 3 Years 3. Information Technology & Business experience Required - 3 Years 4. Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, MicroStrategy, or OBIEE Required - 3 Years 5. SQL coding/querying skills Required - 3 Years 6. Strong Face-to-Face communication skills Required - 3 Years 7. Experience with Dimensional Data Models Required - 3 Years 8. Knowledge of SSIS and ETL Required - 3 Years 9.
