*Summary:*
Competent Java, preferable in low latency, or Financial Services
environment with experience working with "high throughput, high
availability and fault tolerant applications.
- An ideal candidate will build secure, scalable and reliable technology
solutions with minimal mentoring.
- The target systems achieve a unique blend of ultra-low latency
performance, capacity to seamlessly facilitate the busiest performance,
capacity to seamlessly facilitate the busiest trading days in the world
economy, and rock-solid reliability and integrity, all while undergoing
rapid release cycles.
- Achieving these goals will require an understanding of both the
underlying technology and the development, testing, and deployment
life-cycle of the applications.

*Principal Accountabilities:*
- Conducts system-wide testing and some integration testing
- Demonstrates skill in language proficiency; Writes application modules
and unit tests with minimal guidance. Designs with guidance and codes
independently
- Exhibits skilled knowledge of SQL database; Performs elementary
database modeling and intermediate database tuning
- Identifies potential opportunities for code optimization; Provides
input for code reviews and helps with environment build deployments,
release notes and build notices; Reviews code to proactively identify and
mitigate potential issues and defects and helps to identify sources of
defects as well as troubleshoots various forms of code.
- Uses design tools to frequently share and communicate design ideas on
larger systems
- Uses patterns frequently, contributing to best practice and process
enhancements.
*Requirements:*
* Competent Java, preferably in a low latency or financial services

* Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
* Experience working with a globally distributed workforce and managing
tasks across multiple offices
* Effective communication of complex problems in a clear and concise

* Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud computing preferred
*Role: Automation Tester*
*Summary*:
Senior automated tester with extensive experience in developing test
scripts and leveraging behavior driven tools to execute those. No manual
testers at all.
- The senior QA role is the subject matter expert (SME) within the
project team.
- The Sr QA must have good written and verbal communication skills; and
be able to interface efficiently with all support groups, other QA groups,
and development groups in order to get things done independently with
minimal oversight.
- The incumbent must exhibit quick learning abilities by mastering new
concepts which may be business, technical, or process-oriented.
*Principal Accountabilities:*
* Assist QA Manager and QA Lead Analyst in identifying test scope,
identifying project risks, and implementing process changes and
efficiencies.
* Create and maintain test artifacts and facilitating artifact reviews.
* Ensure team members are complying with SDLC processes.
* Execute responsibilities with minimal oversight; consult analysts and
consultants as the technical SME.
* Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups.
*Skills & Software Requirements:*
* SQL for analysis and data verification in back-end tables
* Successful experience testing commercial Linux apps
* Java app testing experience
* Tibco RV/MQ messaging experience
* Experience working with UC4
* Programming knowledge for automation
