Offer is contingent upon attending an in person interview. *JOB DETAILS / DESCRIPTION: * Support for development and maintenance of enterprise Oracle data warehouse to support Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives. Do you have experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)? Those candidates with the ODI tool will be considered first as it is strongly desired for this role, however, detailed examples of when and how they used ODI will be required. *DAY TO DAY* The applicant will be involved in gathering of business requirements and creating technical designs. Experience designing, developing, and supporting new and current ETL processes employing industry standards and best practices to enhance loading of data from and into different source/ target systems. The data warehouse developer’s role in an organization includes providing support to the organization’s business requirements in the application and consumption of information from the Data Warehouse. The applicant will be part of the team to review, analyze, modify, and create ETLs, testing, debugging, integration and implementation processes. Task will also include documenting technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensuring optimal technical infrastructure is utilized. This position involves the delivery of huge data integration projects and would therefore require leveraging best practices expertise and experience at implementation; as well as effective technology know-how. *Experience and Key Skills* 5 years or more of experience of a database developer in a professional environment 5 years or more of experience in a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environment 5 years or more of Experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) - SQL - PLSQL - ETL Tools: ODI (strongly preferred) / Informatica *those candidates who can show tech details on resume regarding their exp with the ODI tool will be considered first. - ERWIN - UNIX - OBIEE - MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) *Preferred Qualifications * • Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Preferred • Strong business acumen and communications skills • Experience in data warehousing for a retail/store environment *REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:* *5+ years’ experience in Data Warehouse Developer Role:* · Strong SQL and PL/SQL development capabilities. · Experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) · Deep understanding of data warehouse and star schema concepts. · Expert/Advanced level experience with ETL Tools, ODI preferably. · Deep experience in SQL tuning, tuning ETL solutions, physical optimization of databases. · Expertise in writing ETL jobs for extracting and loading large volumes of data between two databases. · Scheduling ODI jobs, configuration of monitoring and altering mechanisms. · Ability to work on wide variety of development needs from simple queries to complex queries and multidimensional analysis · Ability to follow best coding standards practices · Analyze and provide resolutions for production data issues · Familiar with Unix shell scripting and job automation *Skill Matrix:* Skill Required/ Amount of years Total Years Used Last Used Year PL/SQL and SQL developer with Oracle experience Required 5 Years Experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) Required 5 Years Understanding of Star Schema data warehouses and data warehouse design Required 5 Years ETL script development and execution, including automation in a Linux / Oracle environment Required 5 Years Performance tuning and reconciliation of SQL query execution Desired 5 Years Familiar with Unix Shell Scripting Desired 5 Years Experience with OBIEE, BIP and Repository modeling in Oracle OBIEE platform Desired 5 Years Experience developing report specifications from business requirements and executing the build to design Desired 5 Years Experience with a mature data modelling tool such as ERWIN or SQL Developer (preferred) Nice to have 5 Years ETL Tools ODI(preferred) / Informatica Nice to have 3 Years Current location?
