*Position Description*:

The Enterprise BI Architect will oversee and support the design,
development, and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and
analytics solutions that deliver information efficiently, with the end goal
to solve business challenges and achieve business objectives. Primary focus
will be to deliver end to end Business Intelligence (BI) and advanced
analytics solutions for the business utilizing the Microsoft stack (e.g.,
SQL Server RDMS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Tableau, PowerPivot,
SharePoint, Power View, and Excel Services) as well as utilizing source
business applications under the SaaS model.  This role requires close
working relationship with cross-functional stakeholders.


Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Deliver on overall data analytics strategy and build integrated
solutions that are in line with the data strategy and meet business
requirements

·         Provide thought leadership in the area of data management and
data governance and understand data availability and quality standards
(enterprise wide)

·         Responsible for ensuring data adheres to corporate governance
standards. Ensures credibility and reputation of high quality data

   - Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and
   reports utilizing SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS applying best practices
   through the development lifecycle
   - Define and implement integrations between source business applications
   and data warehouse as needed to ensure data integrity and support data &
   reporting requirements
   - Gather requirements, conducting business analysis, and writing
   technical design specifications
   - Documentation of source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and
   database design
   - Identify areas of improvement to optimize data flows
   - Installation and Administration of Microsoft SQL Server
   - Lead and mentor junior resources
   - Document test plans and test scenarios and verify test results

*Qualifications:*

   - Bachelor’s or Masters in a field such as Data Architecture, Math,
   Business, or Computer Science
   - 10 plus years of demonstrable data warehouse and business intelligence
   experience and knowledgeable in various analytical modeling techniques and
   BI concepts (i.e., ETL, Data Warehousing and Analytics)
   - Strong data analysis skills and dimensional modeling skills
   - Ability to lead and effectively facilitate design sessions with
   business users including executives and the IT/BI team in order to derive
   data requirements and data design information
   - Working knowledge of Microsoft BI tools including SQL Server RDMS,
   SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Tabular, PowerPivot, SharePoint, Power View,
   and Excel Services
   - Working knowledge of BI visualization solutions such as Tableau,
   Birst, etc.
   - Working knowledge of architecture and applications on or incorporating
   innovative data analytic technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive,
   Cassandra and other open source and proprietary data analytics platforms
   and tools strongly preferred
   - Demonstrate ability to provide technical leadership on large complex
   data integration projects
   - Demonstrate ability to balance tactical delivery with strategic vision
   where necessary to meet business-driven, time-critical objectives.
   - Excellent communication/ influencing skills and ability to navigate
   through matrixed, integrated organizational charts and reach out to various
   constituent groups
