Job Title Senior Electrical Engineer (Design) Work Location Auburn Hills, MI Mandatory Skills Electrical Circuit Design (Analog and Digital), Microcontroller, Embedded Design Job Description Job Summary: * Responsible for doing Electrical Circuit Design, Analog, Digital including Microcontroller and Embedded design. Shall be well-versed with Electrical Circuit Design tools and have knowledge of functional safety standers. Responsibilities: * Requirements development and analysis, electrical architecture development, component research and circuit design. * In depth analysis, simulation, development of design documentation (ME / EE Interface, HSIS, WCCA, DFMEA, Schematic) * Optimization of design for Cost, Manufacturability, Testability and Quality. Electrical Engineer (Test) * Electrical Circuit Design analog and digital (Microcontroller and Embedded Design) * Responsible for creating electrical test plan and electrical test specification. * Include requirements testing, circuit verification, bench and lab testing. * Track the progress and communicate to the lead electrical engineer on the project. * Perform electrical test, create test reports and initiate defect records for each electrical hardware release. * Main customer interface for all electrical hardware related activities including customer design reviews, clarify and negotiate customer requirements for the project. * Define, analyze, and implement functional safety (ISO26262) related electrical hardware requirements. * Tools: Stamatis capture, Altiam or similar Qualifications: Minimum Qualification: * B.S. / M.S. (preferred) in Electrical and Computer Engineering * At least 10+ years of working experience in Automotive Electrical Engineering in Circuit Design (both Analog and Digital). * Lead the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all electrical related activities for various projects * Engages in comparative and competitive analysis to ensure utilization of most appropriate and beneficial techniques in a situation respectively.
