*Position : SharePoint Architect * *Location: Alpharetta, GA* *Duration: Long Term* * Client: E&Y* *Look for candidates who are directly W2 to us.* *Note: We are looking for SharePoint Architect who has strong experience working with Large client ( Enterprise level) and from Admin background and not development side. * *Job Description* Assist with the root cause analysis of incidents for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016. Assist with the deployment and setup of SharePoint monitoring solutions. Help with the configuration and execution of SharePoint backup and restore implementations. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems and application configurations support SharePoint applications and enhancements with respect to service readiness. Work on the design, implementation, and support of new and future application architectures in a matrix organization that includes SharePoint Administrators, Developers and the SharePoint Global Lead. *Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: * Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but must also work independently and self-govern. Ability to work with 3rd party vendors (i.e. Microsoft, Citrix, VMware etc.) for escalation of issues Demonstrates analytical and systematic approach to problem solving. Communicates fluently both orally and in writing and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Able to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets. Able to absorb new technical information rapidly, has awareness of business acumen and applies it effectively. Appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant employment areas and how it relates to the business activities of the employer or client. Ability to make key decisions as they relate to service disruptions and problems Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets Ability to rapidly absorb new technical information, business acumen, and apply it effectively Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant employment areas and how it relates to the business activities Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change Knowledge and Skills Requirements: In-depth, technical knowledge on SharePoint 2013 and 2016, it’s configuration, setup, shared services architecture and troubleshooting. Authentication. Backup and restore. User Profile. Search Service. Secure Store. Managed Metadata. Other Service Applications. Background and experience supporting multi-tier SharePoint infrastructures. Experience troubleshooting SharePoint components, like Search, User Profile, Managed Metadata, among others. Experience on tasks configuration and automation via PowerShell. Excellent communication skills. Advanced English (written and verbal). Availability to attend out of regular office hours calls. Availability to participate on the weekend on-call rotation supporting production incidents. Experience and understanding of SharePoint shared services farm configuration required. Strong understanding and experience with Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, SQL Server 2012/2014/2016, IIS administration, Active Directory, Firewalls, Windows 7 or above and Office 2016. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues in a mission-critical environment. Familiarity with formal change management processes through the SDLC and incident tracking processes. Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures General Windows Server and networking knowledge will be a plus.
