Role: Java Technical Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC
Mandatory Skills
* Prior Exposure to Utilities Industry and functional areas of Asset
and Work Management, Mobile Workforce Management, Customer Service, etc.
* Strong expertise in Java Technology stack
* Strong hands on experience in Mobility UI, Oracle DB, SQL Querying,
Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)/Interfaces technology areas
* Exposure WebMethods, Websphere MQ interface technologies
* Exposure to Infrastructure technologies (AIX, LINUX)
Preferred Skills
* Prior experience in similar product implementation and/or upgrade
projects
* Detailed development life-cycle knowledge for requirements,
analysis, design, development, testing, end user training and implementation
* Prior experience in planning, scheduling, tracking and status
reporting
* Risk mitigation, escalation, prioritization and communication skills
* Team player and customer focused
* Previously played architect/lead role in technical projects
Job Roles/Responsibilities
. Architect to drive an End to End Upgrade program.
. Interface with IT & Business Teams , translate requirements into
technical specifications
. Define roadmap of upgrade and implementation
. Work with Technical ( Development & Testing teams) at Cognizant
. Lead a team of developers , provide guidance and Technical Mentoring
