Role: Desktop Engineer Location: Ann Arbor, MI Duration: Long Term Description:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent experience • Minimum of seven years of experience in desktop engineering, application support, and supporting operating systems in a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment. • Microsoft certifications preferred. • Expert knowledge in customizing Windows 7, Windows 10, and image creation. • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Batch scripting and PowerShell. • Advanced knowledge with user profile and Windows registry. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office application customizations, and add-ins. • Experience with SCCM, packaging and application deployment across multiple regions • In-depth knowledge working with browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox) customizations, security settings, policies, and plug-in. • Working experience in large scale deployment using technologies including, SCCM task sequences, OSD, USMT, MDT • Familiarity with VMWare, virtual machines, and Citrix XenApp, and XenDesktop. • Solid understanding of networking concepts including, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN, load balancing, DHCP and VPN Professional Desktop Engineer Implements enterprise package solutions based on business process design requirements. Works with the client to evaluate, troubleshoot, test and package applications for a Windows 10 implementation. Recognizes business processes that can be improved through technology and or business recommend/build solutions. Creates business requirement documents to ensure technical specifications can be developed. Documents specification, user manuals, procedures and other relevant information. Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents and business requirements. Must be detail oriented and quality driven. Good communication and customer service skills. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 5 years. Win10 application testing, packaging and roll out implementation. Thanks...
