Provide business domain solution, process, strategy, business case and change consulting to external Medicaid and public-sector clients at a functional level. Working closely with technical consultants, business consultants identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Identifies business trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Interprets results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. Designs develop and implement the most valuable business solutions for the organization. Prepares big data implements data models and develops a database to support business solutions. Able to work independently and collaborate as a team leader. Able to gather complex analytic requirements from non-technical clients, research and presentation skills. Experience using statistical techniques and developing visualizations. Able to conduct research, gather 3rd party data and complete impact assessments. Responsibilities: -- Participates as a facilitator in cross-functional teams. -- Forms good personal relationships with clients. -- Interviews client to gain knowledge of their objectives and shares this with the team. -- Participates in team development of consulting methods and tools for the assignment. -- Identifies business trends and problems through complex big data analysis. -- Interprets results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. -- Influences clients by suggesting possible solutions or helping to shape client thinking. -- Translates and clarifies complex business requirements for use by technical staff. -- Contributes to design activities. Education and Experience Required: -- Typically, an advanced degree in a technical or scientific field with a minimum of 6 years work related experience. -- Broad industry and commercial experience. Broad understanding of core business processes in healthcare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial Insurance. -- Client facing experience providing and implementing analytical solutions to health and life science, Medicaid, or Commercial Insurance customers. -- Ability to gather complex analytic requirements from non-technical clients. -- Extensive research and presentation skills. -- Experience using statistical techniques. -- Experience developing visualizations.
