Hardware Design Engineer North Chicago, IL Job Description * Experience in Digital and Analog design * Experience in standards (ISO13485, ISO14971, IEC 60601) and Experience in designing for EMI/EMC compliance * Experience in circuit simulation tools such as PSPICE, LTSPICE and tools like oscilloscope, Multimeter etc. * Knowledge in PCB tools such as Mentor, Altium, OrCAD etc for schematic capture and PCB layouts and review. * Development of variety of automated test benches and fixtures required for development purposes. * Performs troubleshooting and fault isolation activities on a variety of circuits. * Writing test protocols for HW testing, conducts measurements specified in design verification plans, documents test reports. * Communications and collaboration with cross functional teams and all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. * Documents custom tools with specifications, schematics to support document control and tool release. * Support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
