Hope you’re doing great, This mail is in regards to a career opportunity with one of our clients, we are currently looking for professionals with the below experience. *Snowflake Data Modeler/Data Analyst* *Mequon, WI* *Long Term* *Job Description:* Strong in Data Modelling concepts across all Data Architectures such as Data Warehouse , Data Marts. Experience in data profiling and designing new data models or enhance existing data models in Erwin tool. Preferred to have experience in ETL tool. Good to have Finance/Banking/Insurance domain experience. 1. Business Acumen : Work closely with business in understanding reporting and analytical requirements with respect to money movement / bank product financials / banking product and employee performance on acquisition and servicing front. 2. Data Exploration : Explore various data sources (internal and external) and map them to reporting metrics, understand relationship between various data sources and be able to write SQL queries to integrate data and validate data exploration results with business to determine trusted data sources for reporting metrics. 3. Data Modeling : Adhere to client specific bank bi technical architecture, exercise data modeling expertise to model fact and dimensional tables, review proposed data model with data modelers. 4. ETL : Exhibit acquired ETL Development skills in design and development of reusable and specific ETL components to transform source data and load into Target data model. 5. Functional Experience : Role demands for banking domain expertise, prior work experience in Bank BI projects, knowledge on one or more banking product life cycle starting acquisition through servicing, understanding of key reporting metrics on each acquisition life cycle stage and key product servicing metrics. Prior work experience in money movement, primary banking checking saving and deposits, loans or credit cards BI projects is an added advantage. 6. Technical Interaction Skills : Role requires an ideal candidate to be able to work with reporting developers to enable understanding of the data model and facilitate effective development of reports and dashboards. Expertise on SAP Business Objects and Design Studio is an added advantage. 7. Business Interaction Skills : Candidate should be able to work with Analysts, Data Scientists to explain the data model and technical nuances in integration of acquired data with other bank data assets and facilitate them in insight derivation and value creation. 8. Automation, Quality Controls and Configuration Management : Prior work experience in Scheduling tools preferably control-m, ETL and Unix scripting knowledge to develop and debug Quality controls, work experience in Data Stage Urban Code Deploy or other Configuration management tools. 9. Hands-on experience with complementary open source software platforms and languages, specifically Python. 10. Project Execution : Work experience as an Agile BI Developer. 11. Communication Skills : Excellent and differentiated Communication abilities that pertains to daily stand-ups, technical team meetings, business requirement and demo meetings.
