Controller System Engineering Lead Raymond, OH Job Description: Designing, developing, calibrating, and validating the software and hardware aspects of electronic controllers including: 1. Control algorithms, 2. Diagnostics, and 3. Communications for the controllers used across multiple product lines Responsibilities: 1. Decompose & document vehicle system level requirements into controller hardware and software requirements using Integrity 2. Develop and document validation tests using Integrity 3. Interface with vendor(s), Purchasing , technicians and other internal teams to ensure functional compatibility and quality 4. Perform bench/vehicle validation, hardware validation, software validation and calibration of the controller 5. Optimizes controller design and re-use across multiple product lines and functionality requirements 6. Updates team on controller development schedule/status to clarify deliverable expectations Primary Skills 1. Experience with design and/or implementation of vehicle controls, diagnostics and communication 2. Experience with Design FMEA, Software FMEA, and Functional Safety 3. Experience with motor controllers, and power electronics 4. Experience with communication networks CAN and J1939 5. Experience in project management 6. Familiarity with Requirements & Test Management tool 7. Experience with Model-in-loop(MIL), Software-in-loop(SIL) & Hardware-in-loop(HIL) testing and low level software verification 8.
