Job Title: DevOps Engineer Job Location: Saint Louis, MO Long Term Contract Mandatory skills: Confluent Kafka and Kubernetes Administration, Docker, Unix, ELK, CloudBees Jenkins, Ansible, Pipelines for Java/Pega/Informatica, Test Automation Preferred skills: . Ability to use and explore a wide variety of open source technologies feasibility and usage on Provider Applications like Dynatrace, FileBeat, Ansible, JFrog X-Ray, ELK, SonarQube etc) . AWS DevOps , Azure DevOps . Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service Role and Responsibilities: . Experience with Automation/configuration management more on System Admin kind of work . Experience on Confluent Kafka and Kubernetes Admin/Configuration setup activities. . Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Java technologies. . Ability to use and explore a wide variety of open source technologies feasibility and usage on Provider Applications like Dynatrace, FileBeat, Ansible, JFrog X-Ray, ELK, SonarQube etc) . Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service. . Work directly with the DevOps team to test system integrity . Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management. . Experience with Linux infrastructures and Manage CI/CD tools like CloudBees Jenkins and Pipelines scripting, Agile workflow methodologies . Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning . Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve. . Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations . Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery . Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages . Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards . Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects . Explore ELK Integration how to do on Commercial Software tools like PEGA, Informatica etc. . Generate Test Automation data on Oracle Docker Environment. . Document and design various processes and update existing processes.
