Role: Bash, Perl Developer Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Long Term Contract Note: Financial services experience preference (understanding of middle office and back office functions) Job Description: Augments onsite team resources through the analysis of batch jobs, re-scripting and unit testing. Collaborates with Program Stakeholders and technology leaders, to script jobs to a defined engineering standard that ensures that jobs are environmentally agnostic. Experience working in agility models, collaboration with DevOps and application development. Strong commitment to exceptional engineering standards and is comfortable communicating the status of batch job re-scripting and proactively raises impediments and blockers to the program leads. Key Areas of Contribution: . Perl, Bash, C technical expertise . 6+ years of experience . Has experience with critical batch job scripting and configurations . Familiarity with disaster recovery environments and job scheduler tooling such as Control M. . Implementation of batch scripting standards . Rescripts jobs based upon defined batch scripting standards . Ability to support testing and approach . Linux is a must.
