Job Description

*       Define and execute test plans for product / system testing and
end-to-end testing of client solution applications
*       Support software QA test planning and testing across the full
lifecycle of application development, including planning, development,
implementation and maintenance
*       Perform testing in close collaboration with developers concurrent
with development and in an Agile manner
*       Perform complete end-to-end solution testing in the QA environment.
*       Perform incremental release testing.
*       Perform regression and negative testing
*       Install and configure the software on platforms to be tested.
*       Troubleshoot environmental issues
*       Deal directly with the client QA, App Dev teams
*       Develop scripts and terminal commands that helps with testing.
*       Write database queries (SQL) for necessary database testing
*       Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout product
development cycles.

 

Required:

*       Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
*       3 plus years of software testing experience.  
*       Experience in documentation of Client Solution test plans, test
results, and quality assessment
*       Web services protocol knowledge. (REST, SOAP and XML)
*       Knowledge of Bash
*       Team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
*       Ability to successfully communicate with distributed development and
test teams.
*       Good understanding of software testing practices and disciplines.
*       Proficient understanding of Agile development methodologies.

 

Preferred:

*       Experience testing Contact Center related products and technology.
*       IVR platform and VRU software experience. (Edify, Nuance,
Intervoice, Genesys, Cisco and VXML)

Call center or customer service application experience
