- Analyze requirements and code specification, participate in design
reviews with development team and plan for automation feasibility
- Support test automation planning and estimation
- Translate manual regression test cases into automated test scripts,
develop and design automation scripts
- Continuously maintain automation test framework, reusable test
automation libraries
- Discus design issues with development team based on automation needs
- Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts
- Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by
the testing team
- Assist with creation of automation testing best practices.
- Execute automated test scripts for each sprint
- Generate automation test reports and review them with appropriate
stakeholders.
- Report errors or bugs found in automated testing
- Create and maintain documentation regarding automation test cases and
automation test framework.
- Perform peer-review/code-review
