This is a very urgent position. I am ready to get this moving in next few
hours. 

 

Job Description. Responsibilities 

Work with cross-section of internal IT organizations, including System
Architects, DBAs, System Analysts, Developers, Testers and the Management
Team.

Develop Data Architecture Artifacts including conceptual, logical and
physical data models

Develop Technical Specification Documents including Data Mapping documents
required for ETL/SQL development

Develop DW Standards for Enterprise including Database, ETL and Reporting
Standards to be used in development projects on DW Platform

Develop/Contribute to  Physical Data Modeling of Teradata Projects including
Dimensional Modeling and 3rd Normal Form Modeling

Develop/Contribute to  ETL Architecture and design on DataStage

Participate as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required for design reviews
and technology and tool selection.

Develop database, ETL design documentation such as data decompositions and
data flow diagrams.

Work independently without significant supervision and must be a team player
with a results driven attitude.

 

Required Experience

8+ years of experience working as a Data warehousing Lead/Architect
preferably using Teradata and DataStage

Must have worked on a large scale data warehouse/ database Implementation on
Teradata Platform

Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business
relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Proven diagnostic problem solving and solution development capabilities
required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Good to have 

Teradata Certification

Experience working with Teradata  Tools and Utilities
