Role :-Network SME Location : Farmington CT Network SME : Switching/Routing/SD-WAN/VPN Minimum of ten (10) years IT experience with 5 years of network architecture, design and engineering experience in Global IT environments including cloud and third party outsourced components. Documented experience supporting and developing enterprise IT infrastructure architecture in hosted and cloud environments preferred. Expert Knowledge and technical expertise of wireless communications, network security, voice and data networking systems required. Knowledge of best practices for optimizing IT infrastructure, providing policies, standards and guidelines. Proficient in creating low-level network design documentation including detailed Visio diagrams. Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation with Telecommunications infrastructures: PRI/T1/DS3/ETH. Experience with H.323 and SIP protocols. Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation in LAN/WAN environments. Expert knowledge of Cisco Routing, Switching and VPN Technologies. LAN/WAN architecture, including software defined (SD) WAN technologies, modern telecommunications technology (i.e. Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, Fiber Optics, Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Digital Subscriber Line and Gigabit and higher throughput Ethernet) required. Advanced understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols. Experience with Solar Winds and/or other network monitoring/reporting tools. Experience designing highly-secure multi-tenant network solutions. Experience implementing Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, F5, Riverbed, Cisco VPN and VoIP solutions. Exposure to Disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning concepts and designs.
