Role: Business Analyst Location: San Jose, Ca Duration: 6+ Months Description This position will support core banking (deposits & loans) system implementation and conversion activities.
Position Summary: • Provides advanced specialized consultative support to customers and other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) related to banking systems and sub-ledgers. These are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company. • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to core banking applications • Experienced in gathering business requirements in an ambiguous environment. • Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements. • Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s). • Develops operational procedures for core banking products, services and systems. • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements. • Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas. • Follows, or in some cases establishes, as required, effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis. • Must be aware of any risk-related changes that may impact assigned work functions and processes. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, or High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered. • Minimum or 5 years’ experience support a commercial off the shelf core banking system Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and handling simple as well as complex products and processes. • Organization and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy are critical. • High energy, self-motivated, and results driven. • Demonstrated experience proactively working with team members to meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thanks...
