• Proficiency in one or more general purpose big data languages
- Hadoop, Python, Hive, HDFS and Spark
• 4 years+ experience designing and development using Python or
Spark.
• 2+ years’ experience working in UNIX, SQL, Java and/or Scala
• 3 to 5 years’ experience with Unix shell scripting
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application
design, software development, and testing
• Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a
variety of platforms
• Experience with adaptive and responsive development techniques
• Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
business partners
