Job: 3 Role: AWS DevOps Database Automation Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA Skill Sets . 5+ years' experience supporting large scale systems and databases . Good working knowledge of UNIX . Strong SQL coding and tuning experience . Good problem diagnosis skills . Experience troubleshooting application and system performance and complex, production software issues . Experience executing and interpreting results from database performance benchmarks. . Exposure to Cloud AWS Database Services - RDS, Arora, DynmoDB, Elasticcache, Neptune, Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) . Managing database systems in the cloud such as AWS . In depth experience with any standard Database engines Mysql, Oracle, Postgresql, MS SQL Server, Mongodb . Advanced skills in T-SQL, Powershell, Bash . Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Desired State Configuration . Good overall exposure to various technology stacks like Storage, Network, OS and databases . Past experience working as a programmer/coder is highly beneficial . Advanced use of DBA tools to troubleshoot database performance problems . Familiarity with and capable of enforcing technology management practices such as CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery). . Create and build a DB disaster recovery strategy. . Experienced in Database migration Job: 4 Role: AWS DevOps Automation Engineer (prefers AWS certified preferred) Location: Sunnyvale, CA Responsibility: . Expert in AWS . Experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) . Experience with configuration management (Chef/Puppet, Ansible, SALT, etc.) . Solid Knowledge of Python/Go/Ruby . Solid knowledge of Bash programming . Possess a working understanding of APIs . Knowledge of working with CI/CD pipelines and jobs .
