*Role: Database Developer*
*Location: Raleigh, NC*
*Type: Contract*
*Rate: $45-47/hr (MAX)*

*Looking for Candidates who have Oracle with Unix experience and who are
willing to learn Sybase and Powerbuilder.*
*Job Description:*
· 5 yrs of relational Database experience like SQL Server or Oracle
· Excellent knowledge of Relational Database technology, including
proper database table design, query performance tuning and a good
understanding of query plans is required.
· Good working knowledge of database is an absolute requirement.
· Knowledge and experience in relational database
· Knowledge of Cobol is a huge plus.
· Knowledge and experience in Unix scripting is also required.
· Understanding and experience in maintaining and enhancing batch
driven applications using centralized scheduling software is very helpful
but not required.
· Some knowledge and experience in Oracle database is helpful but
not required
· Some knowledge of Business Objects (BO) or some other reporting
technology is helpful but not required.
· Some knowledge of either .Net or Java and Web based development
is helpful but not required.
· Experience and knowledge of finance and P&L reporting is a
definite plus for this position but is not required.
· The developer needs to have excellent verbal and written
communication skills to effectively interact with other team members,
supporting IT teams and application users.
· Some limited work on weekends and off hours is occasionally
required to support production releases and/or critical application issues.
