Role: QA Automation Architect Location: Philadelphia, PA Long Term Contract Core Responsibilities: Architects, designs and implements test automation frameworks from the ground up into a continuous integration and execution model. Establishes a set of smoke, functional and regression tests for multiple applications that can run in a CI/CD environment, potentially across various devices. Set up an integration testing framework with mock endpoints so that apps can be quickly validated. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Collaborates with our Engineering teams on best practices, process changes and standards as part of continuous process improvement. Coordinates with the scrum team and development counterparts in overseeing bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation and release. Architect and build continuous delivery automated pipelines for a suite of microservices Execute automated and/or manual test suites throughout projects Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including testing tools, process improvements, and test automation to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performance Setup, maintain, and administer automation framework build and deployment methods and tools Identify development methodologies to continually improve our production practices and efficiency Be diligent about recording/documenting development, testing and production support activities and tasks in ALM, RALLY and Jira or other tools. Required Experience and Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in DevOps supporting Agile Development and CI/CD environments 3+ years of experience in at least one of the API/Unit test automation frameworks: Viz, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, 1-2 years of experience building tests using open source frameworks like Protractor, Jasmine, Mocha & Chai, or NodeJS for rich UI applications is a plus. Experience with automation and Java scripting, current tools, technologies, and processes in both virtual and cloud environments (DevOps model) Well-versed with testing concepts, methodologies, hands on experience in test design, test execution, test reporting in agile environment Experience with comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, functional, system, integration, end-to-end, regression Experience with Test Automation of Web Applications using Selenium (Java) and Cucumber (Gherkin), TestNG Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, web services and REST architecture (using or building XML/JSON web APIs) Experience with integrating QA automation as part of a Continuous Integration (CI) process using Jenkins or similar tools Agile experience with CI/CD pipeline using DevOps tools to include Jenkins, JIRA, Selenium, GitHub, RESTFul Practical experience using source code control systems, especially Git or Source Tree Hands on experience in IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse IDE, Ant, Maven or any other building tool Experience with service-based testing of RESTful APIs Familiarity with working in an Agile / Lean environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to present information clearly and effectively Thanks & Regards Deependra Kumar IDC Technologies, Inc Work: 408-882-6922 Mailto: <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] 920 Hillview Court, Suite 250, Milpitas, CA 95035 _____________________________________ Empowering Technologies Services Remote Services | IT Services | BPO | IT Consulting | Staffing Solutions | _____________________________________ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
