*Position: QA Analyst* *Location: Waltham, MA* *Duration: 1+ year contract position* *Position Description:* Our client is a Large Tech Company that specializes in the Enery/Utilities industry and is located in Waltham, MA. Our client is looking for a QA Analyst to fill a 1+ year contract position. QA Analyst has experience in testing front and backend solutions, such as (and not limited to) APIs, backend databases, management systems, websites and mobile applications. He/she is able to test using tools (e.g. web proxies, debug consoles) as well as manual testing. He/she has prior experience testing security and malware applications. Experience working w/ Programs and Project teams in the design phase to ensure quality Develop test strategy/approach and process on a project-by-project basis Document test designs Facilitate test case review w/ stakeholders Conduct evaluations to determine product performance Prioritize QA tasks Create status reports Develop and track test metrics (e.g. test case completion, test coverage) Partner with Development, Design, and Product teams to understand the testing requirements for new feature development based on statements of work, user stories, user flows, and wireframes Develop and execute manual test cases as necessary, while communicating with team members on remaining work and timeline to completion Identify, document, and appropriately escalate bugs, issues, and formatting errors when testing; verify defect resolution Implement software testing methodologies, models and practices as required, and be able to adapt to development workflows Provide updates to QA Lead regarding progress *Required Skills:* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years’ of professional experience Experience testing security authentication and malware software Excellent communication and documentation skills Experience with test automation Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment Experience with JIRA *Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):* Experience in test design, development and and execution of test cases Broad understanding of software testing methodologies Experience with both Black Box and White Box testing in a web environment Ankit Mendiratta Team Lead Tel: 669 252 1194 / 315 497 7329 Email: [email protected] *Buddha Tech LLC ( Staffing Solution** )**|* *www.buddha.tech* <http://www.buddha.tech/> 919 N Market St, Suite 950, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, US -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
