Need 10-15 years' experience Responsible for developing, improving and maintaining equipment solutions to support automated manufacturing for a high-volume consumer products application. Develop, implement, and maintain controls solutions (robot programming, PLC programming, HMI programming, vision tools, etc.) to support sustaining production and continuous improvement of automated assembly, filling, and packaging lines JOB DESCRIPTION: * Review test protocols * Draft customer protocols & release in Agile * Witness IQ/OQ/PQ runs & record deviations * Data gathering/analysis/report compilation/approval * Release documentation in Agile * Will execute and lead projects with guidance from Lead engineers * Interface with a variety of automated equipment and drive controls solutions to eliminate defects, improve cycle times, reduce machine downtime. * Develop equipment controls requirements and specifications * Design, engineer, and qualify complex automation controls solutions and applications * Collaborate with cross-functional team to identify root cause of production issues and develop creative solutions to resolve * Follow and execute change management process when implementing new controls solutions or modification/refurbishment to existing controls solutions * Participate in equipment design reviews * Prepare and maintain documentation related to the operation of the equipment * Collaborate with machine Technicians to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities Preferred Requirements: * Experience with high-volume automation applications in the medical device, food, beverage, or electronics industries * Experience with SCADA-based production control systems * Experience with automation simulation software * Six Sigma Green Belt certification Requirements: * Self-motivated individual works well both independently and in a cross-functional team setting * Ability to effectively communicate and interface with customers, upper management, peers and direct reports * Hands-on individual with excellent mechanical aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Working knowledge and competence in PLC, HMI, robot control, and servo control programming * Working knowledge and competence in vision system and vision tool development * Understanding of control wiring * Experience with engineering tools including design review, FMEA, DFA/DFM, and similar tools Requirements: * Minimum 5 years hands-on experience designing, deploying, and/or maintaining high-speed automated assembly, filling, and packaging equipment Requirements: * B.S in Engineering or Technical Practice If I miss your call please send me an e-mail, I will get back to you shortly.
