Responsibilities:
· Primary architect for all custom SharePoint solutions. This includes working with all
levels of business both verbally and in writing to determine business needs and how to
address them with SharePoint.
· Support SharePoint team in the design of custom applications built on Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server Platform
· Design, develop, implement, and/or enhance web-enabled applications using .NET,
ASP.NETADO.NET, C#, VB.NET, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, JQuery, HTML5, etc.

· Transform complex customer business requirements into effective, efficient, and
maintainable enterprise-level solutions
· Work with customers at all levels of technical ability by assisting them in the
requirements elaboration, customization, and definition of SharePoint sites.
· Provide SharePoint guidance and leadership by example on SharePoint best practices
· Utilize third-party software development kits and API’s to rapidly develop basic
application solutions.
· Optimize performance of web applications and create and utilize best standards
· Customize off-the-shelf solutions to meet customer needs and requirements
· Analyze and resolve current Production application issues
· Lead the complete software development lifecycle for SharePoint solutions, including
analysis, design, configuring, programming, and testing.
· Educate developers on best practices for developing custom SharePoint solutions.
· Provide expertise and support to business managers and other members of IT to
determine how to best implement, support, and use SharePoint solutions.
· Participate in SharePoint infrastructure projects.
· Determine when SharePoint is not the right solution for a business problem and
communicate this effectively to business leaders.
· Conduct research on emerging SharePoint development tools and strategies.

Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, life science or business
administration, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
· At least 8 years’ experience with SharePoint implementations.
· 6+ years’ experience with large and complex IT systems (or 4+ years if the candidate has
a Master’s in a relevant field)
· 4 years’ experience leading a software development team.
· Experience analyzing and documenting business processes.
· Experience in .NET development.
· Experience in SQL Server or equivalent databases.
· Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, _javascript_).
· Experience with Microsoft IIS/Windows, or equivalent server platforms.
· It is desirable to have experience with GMP regulations.

· Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of
SharePoint solutions.

· Ability to gain solid understanding of the business process, workflows and data
requirements for SharePoint.
· Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business
processes and workflows.
· Strong business/client engagement skills.
· Strong conflict resolution skills.
· Strong understanding and knowledge of systems integration.
