Microstrategy sitting on top of the DW Right now the tech is on premise, but moving to the cloud in 2020- Amazon Redshift (their cloud DW product) They have a lot of tech debt that they need to be cleaned up before they migrate Need someone specialized in Teradata Stored Procedures to help clean up old code and create some new code They are Agile, so will participate in ceremonies and do some production support as well Teradata v 16.20, nice to have is the Fast Load and MLoad utility tools specific to Teradata https://www.tutorialspoint.com/teradata/teradata_multiload.htm https://www.tutorialspoint.com/teradata/teradata_fastload.htm They use Informatica PowerCenter for their ETL tool, but only have one package that feeds in, so probably will never touch it. Business partner can read SQL, so they need to be able to discuss the technical aspects with them and take or give direction in a professional manner. Real focus is on the Stored Procedures aspect. Huge plus is Performance Tuning with table in Production Job Description Position Purpose: Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers. Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements Meet with business partners to understand business needs Responsible for overall design of the solution Design, build and test applications Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality Qualifications Top Skills: SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Informatica, **Teradata Performance Tuning and AWS Experience Preferred** Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of related experience. Healthcare experience strongly preferred, requires demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field.
