*Job Title: Lead Devops Technical ConsultantLocation: Sacramento, CA.Duration:6+ Months Responsibilities:* • Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases to ensure client needs are identified and delivered. • Design automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions, with a focus on application concerns, including cloud¬-ready distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, and integrating container platforms with automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines. • Serve as a technical lead supporting Azure DevOps-VSTS, Kubernetes, and Containers; provide mentoring to junior resources on the team as needed. • Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service. • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members. • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level. *Qualifications:* • Passionate DevOps Engineer with 5-7 years of IT application development and operations experience. • 5+ years of Unix/Linux experience • Experience in performing deployments of custom and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) code/software through “codification”/automation • Development experience Puppet and Ruby • Experience working in DevOps structured and Agile organizations • CI/CD pipeline techniques and technologies, Atlassian tools ( Jira, Confluence), ServiceNow • Experience with code repositories, i.e. GitHub, artifactory (Nexus), Bitbucket • Experience in Shell Scripting • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, J2EE, LDAP, Active Directory, XML, IIS, Web Services, authentication protocols, SSH, and/or SFTP • Strong collaboration skills: resource will be collaborating with Development, SCRM team & other IT teams • Excellent communication documentation and collaboration skills • Experience with ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash 7.2 experience in production, in medium to large clusters • Experience configuring and performance tuning large clusters • Working knowledge of Kibana visualization strategies and techniques • Good Understanding of Elasticsearch index configuration options • Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch sharing, partitioning, aliases, watchers, etc. • Experience building Elastic Cluster and installing plugins • Proficient in Puppet • Strong rubio and jython skills • Experience with WebSphere middleware-tier (WAS Traditional, Websphere Liberty, Websphere Portal) • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology team environment. • Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred. • Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions. • Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments. • Future technology leaders- dynamic individuals energized by fast paced personal and professional growth. • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers. • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major. • Solid foundation in Computer Science. • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies. • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents if needed. • Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
