The RPA Developer/Analyst provides development and support of Robot Process
Automation (RPA) solutions for Application Development Services (ADS).
This position is responsible for creating, enhancing, and supporting RPA
solutions using RPA development software. This position will work closely
with the RPA System Admin, RPA Solution Integrator, and business analysts
to ensure the business needs are met when creating or supporting RPA
solutions. Additionally, this position will provide support to the testing
center of excellence.
*Responsibilities may include:*
- Use RPA development tools to create, maintain, and enhance solutions
using RPA best practices
- Develop medium to complex RPA automations in a leveraged or cloud
environment
- Functioning as part of the Application Development Services and the
RPA center of excellence
- Working with Business Analysts to understand business requirements to
provide timely assessments and create technical designs
- Working with RPA Solution Integrators and RPA System Admins to deploy
automations to runtime clients
- Creating and updating RPA documentation for support of automated
processes
- Working with other IT organizations to ensure quality support and
delivery to the end-user
- Owning the support and maintenance of assigned automations with a high
level of quality
- Participate in operational initiatives
- Assist with maintaining and reviewing existing RPA portfolio
*Basic/Required:*
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 3+ years of direct experience with software/application support and/or
development
- Proficient in:
- RPA solution development
- Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Source control practices and patterns (Git workflow,
branching/merging, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of AD/LDAP
- Ability and willingness to provide day-to-day 24×7 application support
*Preferred:*
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or
other related technical discipline
- Experience with UiPath Studio
- Desktop administration – installing and managing applications
- Ability to provide and review estimates; Agile estimation and planning
strongly preferred
- Ability to create and review technical designs
- Experience working with virtual teams
- Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, working
closely with users, business analysts and project managers
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
- Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in fast
pace environment supporting internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to set short and
long-term goals
- Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by
courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable,
and standing up for what is right
- Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
- Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes
timely decisions that are safe and ethical
