Proactively monitor event logs for changes or errors and take appropriate actions to resolve issues . Create and maintain system documentation for updates made to the infrastructure environment . Design, implement and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure . VMware installations, patching and upgrades . Knowledge of VMware vSphere ESX server administration . 3-5 years of Virtualization/VMWare experience from host build, guest deployment to hypervisor operations and management . 5+ years of experience in a mid-to-large environment of Active Directory and related services (Group policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.) . Knowledge of VMware platform administration . Experienced in VMware HA, VMotion configuration, DRS, Virtual server converting tool, server clustering . Configuration of virtual switches, network connections and port . Set-up of a VMware High Availability (HA) cluster . Demonstrated understanding of ESXi, vCenter, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery Services (DRS), and Enhanced vMotion Compatibility (EVC) . Day-to-day administration of storage, including monitoring the Storage ticket queues, restores, resolving issues related to backups, allocations, SAN/NAS connectivity issues, storage hardware and software issues, storage device performance monitoring, storage sizing, storage integration with systems . Installation, configuration and Maintenance of Netapp Filers . Planning, preparation and implementing Data Ontap upgrades. . Physical Storage Management: Assigning disk ownership, aggregate, Flexible Volume, qtree, RAID-DP, Disk . Must be familiar with NFS & CIFS protocols and IP replication & snapshot technologies. Familiarity with other EMC Storage Products(Data Domain, RPA, DMX or VMAX) is a plus . Application Virtualization technologies (MS terminal server) . EMC Networker Backup Software . NDMP Backup Jobs . Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP . Manage GPO's . Powershell Scripts . SIEM Technologies (IBM QRadar / Splunk) . Tenable Nessus - Vulnerability Scanner . Ivanti (Shavlik) Patch - Patch Management . Storage Systems (NAS, SAN) . Compliance, Windows, NetApp, IIS . Microsoft IIS . Experience with capacity planning within the SAN environment . Backup and Restore, Off-site and Tape based .
