*Role*: Sr Quality Engineer
*Location*: SFO, CA
*Key responsibilities:*
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development,
execution, and improvement of action plans
- Develops software quality assurance (SQA) project plans
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports
company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Participates in medium- to large-scale projects
- Performs quality assurance and performance/load testing for
large-scale, customer facing web and mobile applications, tools, and
software
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
- Provides solutions for coding errors
*What we require:*
- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
is required
- 5+ years of software development or test automation experience
- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving
difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
- Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners
globally
- Technical areas of expertise:
- Expertise in *web and mobile test automation* (Javascript,
Java/Selenium, Protractor, SeeTest)
- Expertise in *API automation* (SoapUI)
- Experience with using latest engineering tools (eg. Jenkins, JIRA,
Confluence, Git/Perforce, Node, Grunt, Gulp)
- Technical knowledge in *Unix and shell scripting*
- Experience with agile development
- Good understanding of *Cloud* (AWS EC2/ECS) and Cloudformation
templates
- Experience with running performance/load tests for web/mobile/APIs
(Loadrunner, npm packages, loadUI)
