*Role: SAP Ariba P2P Functional Consultant*
*Location: Foster City, California*
*Duration 6 months*
- Present Ariba P2P solutions to customers and demonstrate expert
knowledge of Ariba applications and embedded business process
- Translate business requirements into designs that leverage the best
practices embedded with in Ariba applications. Lead the configuration,
testing and deployment of Ariba solutions.
- Provide responses to functional queries regarding Ariba’s software
solutions
- Provide leadership in customer project implementations by providing
subject matter expertise in Source to Pay Processes utilizing SAP Ariba.
- Demonstrating functional expertise in SAP Ariba P2P and S2C modules.
- Lead different phases of the project delivery life cycle – business
requirements gathering, process design, solution design, solution
configuration & build, testing, training, go-live, deployment and post
go-live stabilization.
- Engage Client business and IT stakeholders to understand the corporate
project delivery methodologies including Project Management Methodology
(PMM), Development Management Methodology (DMM), Testing Management
Methodology (TMM), ensure compliance with the methodologies and any
information security requirement.
- Provide guidance and support to the technical team to help the
technical build of the system, enhancements and bug fixes.
- Understand data needs and sources and guide the data integration
aspects of the project. Raise awareness for data quality and putting
remediation plans to address data related issues.
- Manage issue logging and resolutions. Support QA and UAT testers
during the testing cycles.
- Guide and provide inputs for change management
- Guide and provide inputs for long-term solution sustainability and
value realization.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of SAP Ariba P2P (Buying and Invoicing) module experience
- Minimum 3 full life-cycle Ariba P2P implementation experience. Hands
on experience in configuring and set up Ariba P2P.
- Functional knowledge of source to pay, procurement, and catalog
management software package being deployed (SAP Ariba).
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Experience in tax and e-invoicing design to handle local regulatory
requirements
- Experience in Guided Buying design and configuration, including
self-service forms
- Experience in designing and developing Ariba analytical reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to effectively
troubleshoot and provide solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and
effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- A good team player with excellent communication and collaboration
skills, with experience working in a global environment.
