Role: SharePoint Location: New Britain, CT Long Term Contract Job Description: The System Analyst Programmer is responsible for production problem prevention and resolution through adherence to prompt system maintenance requirements using through analysis, solution development and documentation along with clear and accurate turnover process to the production support and customer support organization. Design, define and document a detailed and measurable solution in collaboration with our partners. Provide superior customer service for both internal customers. Supporting internally and externally developed applications which are hosted both internally and externally. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: . Interface directly with clients to gather requirements for new or modified functionality . Analyze, propose, and document solutions to meet defined business requirements in collaboration with development and business partners . Consult on issues of moderate technical complexity and route more advanced questions to the right resources within the IT division. . Provide project management duties as needed for smaller projects or team efforts . Coordinate with internal and external resources to track the status of identified problems and drive them towards solution. . Supports a variety of clients including IT management, internal lines of business, Support Groups and Vendors . Test and implement vendor supplied application patching and releases . Responsible for application and server enhancements by implementing change control procedures . Schedule, facilitate and document meetings using tools such as conference lines and Webex, as needed. . Support team technology projects and system upgrades EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: . Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, finance or related field required. . Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal communications with strong team orientation . Outstanding verbal, written and technical communication, analytical and computer skills required . Organized with strong multi-tasking . Ability to work well with cross-functional teams . Strong skills and experience with analyzing production patterns and volumes to effectively grasp customer impact and support production issues with appropriate urgency . Experience on SharePoint to office 365 migration . Knowledge of other technologies is a plus (HTML, Load balancer, PowerShell, and SQL). . Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, or 2016 . Knowledge SharePoint Online - Metalogix Content Matrix experience . Knowledge of Windows OS and IIS . Knowledge on Windows Media services replacement/Office Stream/Social Chorus. .
