10 + years of BA experience in Banking/Financial Domain
Experience evaluating business processes and systems
Very good knowledge on Accounting related processes - how systems feed
corporate general ledgers
Must have worked on complex/logic intensive applications
Deep logic and financial understanding
Experience Performing requirements analysis
Experience creating process flow diagrams
Experience creating wireframes
Experience writing User Stories
Strong in creating general experience flow
Experience working in Agile environment
Team player
Excellent communication and soft skills
Excellent logical and analytical skills
Ability to quickly respond to demanding situations by putting in extra
efforts
- Someone who has experience with system conversion projects
- Accounting experience, related to financial systems
o how systems feed corporate general ledgers
o have created or worked with example t-accounts to see how transactions
debit/credit accounts
o ability to analyze and trace transactions done on the front end through
the DB to see the ending result to GL
- Comfortable with SQL
- Comfortable with reconciling large amounts of data
They are not looking for an actual accountant so to say, because they still
need to be a business analyst first and foremost, but if they are
comfortable with accounting terminology and can speak with accountants that
is ideal.
