*Domain Skills:*
- Extensive Experience in working for Insurance Domain.
*QA / Person Skills:*
- Extensive experience working with end-to-end testing processes and
methodologies/frameworks.
- Ability to articulate the role of testing in an overall QA function
and to influence a team of testers and developers towards a culture of
“fail early” and “building quality in”.
- Exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodology
- Exposure to development environments using Continuous Integration (CI)
and Continuous Deployments
- Experience analyzing business requirements, functional specifications
and with collaborative specification
- Defect Analysis and management experience
- Preparation of defect reports and defect metrics, preferably automated
- Experience of Agile workload planning and management (Stories, Tasks,
etc)
- Ability to interact with all stakeholders of the project including the
technical team.
*Technical Skills:*
- Experience in delivering software testing solutions for both Web based
and Service level testing using Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin and Java.
- Strong foundation in Core Java and demonstrable experience in object
oriented programming concepts (Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism
etc).
- Focus on code quality and understanding of clean coding principles is
a must.
- Exposure to design patterns like Singleton, Factory and Facade
patterns.
- Exposure to Rest Assured for service testing.
- Exposure to build tools like Maven.
Exposure to Relational databases - SQL, Oracle.
