TITLE: .NET DEVELOPER JOB ID : 11041-20 LOCATION: SALEM, OR TYPE: CONTRACT The Office of Information Services (OIS) is a shared service provider for the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Department of Human Services (DHS). OIS provides the technology systems and services that support more than 11,000 OHA and DHS agency staff at local offices and facilities around the state. These systems and services help the two agencies determine client service program eligibility; provide medical, housing, food and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors and people with physical and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state public health. OIS provides management support for OHA and DHS IT projects, systems architecture, databases, IT asset and change management. OIS also coordinates network and computing operations with the Oregon State Data Center. OR-Kids is the legacy child welfare information system which was originally implemented to comply with the SACWIS (State Automated Child Welfare Information System) Federal framework. SACWIS systems were single centralized systems designed to help case workers manage their caseloads through automation and comply with federal reporting requirements. OR-Kids batch programs currently utilize Microfocus Visual Cobol to perform nightly, weekly and monthly batch processes. The team is converting these programs to .Net, SQL Server Stored Procedures and/or Camel ETL Jobs. We need highly qualified contractors who can read and understand Cobol as well as write modern code using SQL Server Stored Procedures and .Net Core. A portion of the changes will also be to create ETL jobs that run on our ESB.
