The candidates should have knowledge on Java with UI. They should be having strong Bigdata experience with Hadoop ecosystem, components – Hadoop, Hive and Spark with Java UI knowledge Having experience on API like REST APIs, elastic search/APIs, etc is a plus The candidate should have led a team of 6-10 engineers. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, maintain regular communication and utilize escalation path as needed. The candidates should have worked in Global delivery model and should have managed onsite-offshore communication. The candidate should have worked in Agile Methodologies and experiences in Amex or other payement gateways is a plus Should be able to provide optimization / performance tuning techniques to develop new processes in Java / Big Data platform Experience : Overall 10-13 years, with 7 years of Bigdata development and designing experience and 5 years of Java Experience Product Experience (Must have) ?Hadoop Hive ?Spark ?Java and UI ?Rest API / Elastic Search ?Linux, shell scripting ?Diagnostic tools : Splunk ?Database – DB2 and Oracle ?Git ?JIRA ?Confluence Certification – Bigdata certification in Cloudera or Hortonworks Job Duties: •Manage and designing Bigdata projects. •Participate in Agile ceremonies. •Participate in and/or lead internal initiatives that help to grow our business, expand our service offerings, bring our clients improved insights, and/or drive efficiencies. •Create and deliver compelling presentation of insights and recommendations to clients to drive project forward and demonstrate our value. •Operate in and contribute to a team-oriented environment with strong personal accountability, commitment and integrity with respect to all aspects of the role.
