*Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Analyst*

*Location: Louisville, KY*

*Duration: Fulltime /Contract*



*Responsibilities*

•       Represents a specific technical domain in the IT organization
(e.g.:  applications, database, server, network, etc.)

•       Responsible for identifying which Configuration Item (CI) types, CI
attributes, and CI relationships are tracked in the CMDB

•       Defines and documents the processes and procedures for creating and
maintaining CIs and CI data

•       Assists the Configuration Manager with audits and reports to ensure
process compliance and the accuracy of the CMDB

•       Responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the IT
Configuration Mgt. framework including governance and control, standards,
processes, procedures, policies, and communications

•       Works with CI Data Owners and other stakeholders to ensure the
quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all CIs are up-to-date

•       Ensures that the CI Data Owners can effectively manage their CI
data

•       Manages the continuous improvement of the automation and
maintenance of non-discoverable CI attributes

•       Evaluates requests for new CI classes, CI attributes, and CI
relationship types

•       Defines, creates, and monitors CI data health reports / dashboards
and works with the CI Data Owners to resolve any issues.

•       Defines the scope CI data audits, documents the audit processes,
ensures the audits take place, and any issues identified are resolved

•       Defines, implements, and improves CI data governance processes as
needed

•       Ensures the CI data is managed using the approved processes

•       Manages the design, development, and implementation of process and
/ or CMDB enhancements



*Qualifications*

•       4 years’ ServiceNow experience with a focus on IT Service
Management (ITSM)

•       2 years’ experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and how it supports
other ITSM processes (e.g.:  Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Mgt.)

•       Able to influence and convince their peers to support and comply
with the Configuration Management process

•       Experience working with stakeholders to understand, document, and
prioritize requirements for process and ServiceNow enhancements

•       Experience creating, managing, and prioritizing enhancement
development stories with business requirements, acceptance criteria, and
Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) and working with stakeholders to
complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment and production
verification.

•       Experience defining and documenting governance processes and
procedures and ensuring that the processes are followed

•       Experience creating CI Data Health reports and working with CI Data
Owners to identify and resolve CI data gaps to maintain CI data accuracy

•       Experience working with CI Data Owners to define, document, and
implement CI Data audits

•       Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and
tasks

•       Self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish goals and
objectives

•       Ability to think and act independently, taking the initiative to
create solutions to solve challenges

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       ITIL v3 Foundation Level Certification or later



*Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Architect*

*Location: Louisville, KY*

*Responsibilities*

•       Develops and maintains the technical design of the ServiceNow CMDB
to meet the current and anticipated scope

•       Develops and maintains the technical design of automation workflows
using orchestration and other appropriate tools

•       Creates and maintains CMDB architecture and technical design
documentation

•       Identifies ServiceNow CMDB technical deficiencies and recommend
solutions

•       Communicates technical challenges and solutions to both technical
and non-technical audiences

•       Develops and maintains CMDB technical design standards and ensures
a consistent CMDB design

•       Designs and implements technical solutions for the CMDB which may
include or require client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules,
workflows, and automation

•       Documents business and technical requirements for CMDB enhancements

•       Ensures that the story development meets the requirements and
adheres to CMDB design standards

•       Designs, implements, and manages the integration of the CMDB with
the authoritative sources of data (e.g.:  LDAP, SCCM)

•       Designs, implements, and manages the integration of the CMDB with
other systems that receive CMDB data

•       Develops and manages transforms for bulk updates to the CMDB



The CMDB Architect is responsible for defining, implementing, configuring,
and maintaining the technical design of the CMDB and ensures that the CMDB
is properly aligned with the broader ServiceNow platform.



*Qualifications*

•       5 years’ experience with designing / developing technical solutions
for a ServiceNow CMDB, including those related to the Cloud

•       5 years’ experience in ITSM / ITIL development and implementation

•       In-depth understanding and background in CMDB and ServiceNow
Discovery

•       Strong technical leadership skills

•       experience both implementing and sustaining a ServiceNow CMDB in
support of other processes (e.g.:  Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Mgt.)

•       Experience working with stakeholders to understand business
requirements, design a solution to meet those business requirements, and
document the corresponding technical requirements that will be used by the
developer to develop the solution

•       Knowledge of Single-Sign on and LDAP integration

•       Experience integrating external systems with the ServiceNow CMDB
(e.g.:  SCCM, Qualys, Dynatrace)

•       Expert understanding of the key technologies relevant to the
ServiceNow integration solutions, including ODBC, REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSL,
etc.

•       Experience in ServiceNow scripting using Javascript, including
Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI actions, etc.

•       Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and
tasks

•       Self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish goals and
objectives

•       Ability to think and act independently, taking the initiative to
create solutions to solve challenges

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       Certified in ServiceNow Administration or Development



*Job Title: ServiceNow Discovery Admin*

*Location: Louisville, KY*

*Duration: Fulltime /Contract*



*Responsibilities*

•       Defines, creates, and manages the ServiceNow Discovery schedules,
ensuring that they complete their scans and provide the expected data

•       Ensures that Discovery schedules are created and maintained for all
active locations and the IP ranges being scanned are active

•       Develops and implements processes to review the Discovery logs,
identifies issues and resolve them

•       Designs, develops, tests, and deploys new ServiceNow Discovery
functionality

•       Creates and maintains the ServiceNow Discovery credentials and
ensures these credentials are implemented where needed

•       Troubleshoots and resolves any issues with Discovery, including
working with support teams and other appropriate stakeholders

•       Defines, creates, and monitors Discovery-related health reports and
works with the appropriate stakeholders to resolve any issues

•       Ensures that ServiceNow Discovery is aligned with other systems
that provide CI data

•       Designs, implements, and manages Discovery-related integrations
with other systems (e.g.:  Infoblox, vCenter)

•       Writes and maintains ServiceNow Discovery-related documentation
(e.g.:  architecture diagrams, mid-server configurations, processes, etc.)

•       Raises awareness and provides guidance to improve the understanding
of ServiceNow Discovery, including properly interpreting CMDB data

•       Ensures ServiceNow Discovery meets the current and anticipated
scope, expanding the scope of Discovery where and when appropriate

•       Reviews and provides recommendations on new systems that could be
integrated with Discovery (e.g.:  E-View)



The Discovery Administrator ensures that ServiceNow Discovery provides the
required CMDB data, develops and manages the Discovery schedules, and
identifies and resolves and Discovery-related issues.  This person is
responsible for the discovery of foundational CI data in the CMDB.



*Qualifications*

•       4 years’ experience administering ServiceNow Discovery

•       Demonstrated experience both implementing and sustaining ServiceNow
Discovery with patterns

•       Understand Discovery’s role / importance for ITSM (e.g.:  SAM, HAM,
IPC)

•       Able to define and propose Discovery architecture for a complex
environment

•       Excellent knowledge of Discovery, MID Server architecture, Probes,
Sensors, Identifiers, and Patterns

•       Experience developing or using an IPAM process that keeps the IP
ranges in Discovery schedules updated

•       Must be able to troubleshoot Discovery issues (Servers, Network
Devices, Storage, Databases, Cloud)

•       Cloud Discovery experience

•       Experience using Discovery with other automated CMDB update tools
like SCCM and JAMf and ensured that all tools update the CMDB properly

•       Work with Network teams to open firewall ports when necessary

•       Working knowledge of WMI, Subnet masks, SNMP, MIBs is a must

•       Completed ServiceNow’s Discovery Fundamentals course for Madrid or
New York

•       Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and
tasks

•       Self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish goals and
objectives

•       Ability to think and act independently, taking the initiative to
create solutions to solve challenges
