*Position: Project Manager - Data Science* *Location: Fremont, CA* We work on solving problems related to Infrastructure Tooling, machine learning, data aggregation and solve complex data analytic & visualization problems. As a Project Manager in Infrastructure Data Center organization,you will be working with Data Science and Tooling Program manager teams to drive the full lifecycle of the projects. This role’s mission is to build a complete and accurate understanding of project scope, convert the scope into execution plan, manage risk and stakeholder communications. You will establish requirements with internal and external stakeholders, manage project schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to program stakeholders. We are looking for technical project managers who have a strong technical foundation and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment. Responsibilities - Gather project requirements from different stakeholders - Coordinate the planning and scoping of the multiple projects with other program managers and technical leads. - Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of partner programs - Manage communication within and between stakeholders/other program managers representing a partnership focus area, internal engineering and external teams - Effectively communicate project statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategies - Work cross-functionally to develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery - Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications and test plans - Ensure project documents and regular updates are complete/current and available for program managers and leadership review Preferred Skills: - Strong critical thinking skills, Problem solving and Organizational Experience - Experience working with software and data engineering teams - 2+ yrs of Project/Program management experience - Working knowledge of how data center operate - Excellent Cross-functional communications skills Desired Skills: - Technical experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Unidash and working knowledge of database systems like MySQL, CRUD etc - Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated experience to self-motivate and follow through on projects - Familiar with different software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile and Scrum - Proficiency in MS-Suite like Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc - Experience building presentations materials and comfortable presenting to stakeholders Education B.S. in engineering discipline, physics, or equivalent experience 2+ yrs of Project/Program management experience Regardes Philip -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
