Role: DevOps Engineer Location : Thousand Oaks, CA/ Woodland Hills, CA/ Mason, OH/ Atlanta, GA Rate: $60/HR (MAX) Job Description: * Experienced in DevOps and AWS supporting both on-Prem and Cloud. * Communication is key, who can speak confidently on SWAT calls if needed * AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Websphere, Udeploy, Jenkins/Bamboo Essential Qualifications - Experience deploying and operating k8s at scale. OpenShift Preferred - Knowledge of the primary AWS services EC2, ELB, ALB, Route53, IAM EKS S3 required. - Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex network topologies. - Excellent understanding of SDLC and how containerization change the CI CD - Ability to Automate Infrastructure through scripting Python, Go preferred - Experience interacting with customers in person and remotely, driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade offs, standard methodologies, project management and risk mitigation - Strong practical Linux based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment required - 24 7 On call rotation. - You automate all things using code Bash, Python, Go, etc - Work with the team to develop code within the stipulated time - Apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation - Participate in design, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, analysis, code review and documenting operating systems and software - Present innovative ideas for system improvements - Adhere to the coding standards and all policies and procedures identified for the project specified by the client UST Global - Coordinate with project team members - Document the approach and actions taken for production development, and testing of the code - Report the progress of work to supervisor and team in team meetings - Perform other duties as assigned or requested - Must be able to relocate as needed by the company. - To support and promote the values of UST Global. - Comply with all Company policies and procedures. - The Company reserves the right to periodically redefine your roles and responsibilities based on the requirements of the organization and or your performance.
