Title: OBIEE Consultant Location: Cambridge, MA Required: * Expertise in full life cycle Business Intelligence implementations and have an understanding of all aspects of an implementation project using OBIEE 11g/12c. * Good experience with Data warehousing, SQL and OLAP technology - designing star schema, snowflake schema, fact and dimension tables, physical and logical data modeling * Experienced in gathering reporting and analysis requirements, documenting the report specifications, implementing the metadata layers including Physical, Business Model and Mapping, and Presentation layer. * Develop RPD metadata repository using OBIEE Administration tool in Physical, Business Model and Mapping, and Presentation Layer. * Create new logical columns, dimensional hierarchy, calculated measures, and aggregate mappings in the BMM layer as per the business requirements. * Develop Time Series Objects using Ago and ToDate functions for time series comparisons. * Design and develop various Interactive Dashboards and reports with drilldowns, guided navigation, filters, and prompts. * Create various session and repository variables and initialized them in the Initialization Blocks to change metadata dynamically as the environment changes. * Performance tuning in OBIEE repository level and reporting level * Implement security based on LDAP Authentication. * Used various cache management techniques for performance tuning including configuring, defining cache parameters, cache persistence time, cache seeding and purging, and event polling. * Create security settings in OBIEE Administration Tool and set up groups, access privileges and query privileges and also managed security for groups in Answers. * Build repository by importing the data, defining keys and joins, creating business model, defining complex joins, mapping columns and sources, creating measures, and developing subject areas. * Experienced in creation of technical, functional and requirement documentation.
