Role: Product Owner Location: Norfolk, VA Long Term Contract Job Description: Looking for an active person who can work as a product owner for one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the organization. Skills: . Good understanding on data forest, data science, data analytics . Good product sense and can speak to other product owners with a good awareness of the end product platform we re building . Able to prioritize for the team on the backlog and articulate the requirements for epics and stories that the data engineering team works on . Able to understand technical solutions such as Event Driven data for near real time analytics and machine learning needs, Hadoop Mongo and what they re used for, data science and machine learning concepts such as recommendation engines, etc. . Strong skills in creating requirement documents, walk through with technical teams . Should be familiar with Agile SAFe Agile models . Should be familiar with JIRA, Confluence etc. . Excellent written and verbal communication . Skills in onsite offshore coordination Experience: . 5 years of experience as product owner . Healthcare domain expertise required . Experience of handling multiple teams at a time . Agile experience is must Roles & Responsibilities: . Responsible for all project related activities . Work with the client along with lead and business analyst to understand the business needs and Software Requirements Specification SRS of the project and direct project or module lead in project planning, scheduling and requirement clarification . Manage allocation, utilization cost, time schedules and standards with well defined milestones . Supervise Systems Analysts Senior Systems Analysts Associate Project Managers to execute and deliver the project according to requirements specifications . Estimate and work with other managers to finalize the resource count . Identify the backup s for the key resources in the project from function as well as management point of view . Coordinate with IT supporting teams to meet the project IT systems and service requirements . Review and conduct regular team meetings with key resources in the project and ensures that progress of the project is per schedule . Report the progress of the project as per established guidelines and mitigate the bottlenecks while executing the project plan . Act as a connecting pin between on site and off shore teams and escalate the issues for timely resolution . Ensure the interaction between project team with other support teams like Software Quality Assurance, Test Consultancy Group etc for smooth progress of project . Ensure quality and other established standards and deliverables are as per the project schedule . Must be able to relocate as needed by the company . Perform other duties as assigned .
